Dr. Cheryl Wood joined All Creatures Care Cottage in July 2024.
She was born and raised in Southern California. Upon graduating from the University of California, Davis, she completed an internship at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Clinic in West Los Angeles, California. She discovered a preference for soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry. After having received additional dental training in Baltimore, MD, she settled in Orange county, CA and has been practicing medicine since 2008.
In 2016 She received additional training in Texas at Sound Imaging in echocardiography to become more proficient in cardiac assessment.
Her hobbies include hiking, running, Pilates, birdwatching, and spending quality time with her family. She is happily married and has a Maltese (her little “princess) named Souffle.
